This position assists school staff with instructional programs, activities, and the personal needs of students. The role involves supporting students during instruction, implementing teacher lesson plans, and assisting with data collection and assessments. It also includes supporting the implementation of Individual Education Programs (IEP) and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), monitoring student behavior, and providing assistance with personal care needs. The paraeducator will also prepare instructional materials, assist with school-wide duties, and participate in professional development. Support may be provided to students via digital platforms as well as in-person.
