The Paperhanger operates production machinery according to provided prints and specifications, produces parts to established quantities and tolerances, checks finished parts for compliance, and maintains production records. The position typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and up to two years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• Typically, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Fundamental understanding of production equipment or ability to learn it quickly.

Responsibilities

• Operate routine production machinery in accordance with provided prints and specifications.
• Carry out routine production activities to produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools to ensure they meet functional, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced.
• Report errors that result in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
