About The Position

The Paper Treater Operator's position is to perform all assigned tasks, including but not limited to, the safe, efficient operations of the paper treating and associated equipment. Additionally, the operator will be required to perform routine maintenance and cleaning on all machinery and workspaces in the assigned area of responsibility. The operator will be required to understand and manipulate computer software related to the operation of the paper treating line and associated equipment. The operator will also be required to identify conditions which may lead to off-quality or equipment downtime and initiate the proper corrective action. Further duties may include assisting maintenance personnel, when requested, in the troubleshooting, repair, or preventive maintenance of equipment.

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Basic computer skills

  • Experience in a fast paced, manufacturing environment a plus
  • Experience in a textile bleaching, dyeing, and finishing operation a plus

Responsibilities
