About The Position

The Paper Picker is responsible for the housekeeping in and around a facility’s property. This includes collecting litter, paper, debris, and other cleaning related responsibilities. The role involves clearing and safely disposing of litter and debris from areas within site boundaries, performing tasks to ensure a clean, tidy, organized and visibly maintained site. Tasks include sweeping, dusting, picking litter/paper and debris. The employee will carry out all duties safely and in accordance with management direction, and perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

Requirements

  • Dependable, punctual and a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with maintenance and/or laborer duties.

Responsibilities

  • To clear and safely dispose of litter and debris from areas within site boundaries.
  • Performs tasks to ensure a clean, tidy, organized and visibly maintained site.
  • Tasks include but are not limited to sweeping, dusting, picking litter/paper and debris etc.
  • Carries out all duties safely and in accordance with management direction.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
