About The Position
Responsible for food/beverage distribution from the pantry, pantry product inventory and offerings, and other related duties. Become part of Restaurant Associates, the industry’s leading provider of dining and event catering for some of the nation's most prestigious museums, performing arts centers and corporations!
Requirements
- Previous food running experience is required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
- The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
- The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all food or beverage is distributed from pantry in a timely fashion.
- Maintains and performs product inventory.
- Understands menu offerings.
- Creates, modifies, or closes individual sale checks via electronic tablet.
- Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
