Requirements

Previous experience as a Pantry Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and food preparation techniques.
Strong knife skills with excellent attention to detail and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to stand and work in a kitchen environment for extended periods.
Must be able to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to complete the essential duties of the job with or without accommodation.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Food handler training preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare dressings, sauces, vinaigrettes, and other condiments according to restaurant standards.
Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for salads and cold dishes.
Plate and garnish menu items with attention to presentation and consistency.
Monitor inventory levels and restock pantry supplies as needed.
Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly handled, and stored according to food safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout service.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
