About The Position
Restaurant Associates, a leading provider of dining and event catering, is seeking a full-time Pantry Attendant. This role is responsible for food and beverage distribution from the pantry, managing pantry product inventory and offerings, and other related duties. The position is based at 20 Hudson Yards, New York, NY. This is a full-time position with a fixed pay rate of $25.00 per hour, operating Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
- Use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
- Use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

- Experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all food or beverage is distributed from pantry in a timely fashion.
- Maintains and performs product inventory.
- Understands menu offerings.
- Creates, modifies, or closes individual sale checks via electronic tablet.
- Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
