About The Position

Savory Hospitality is seeking a Pantry Attendant to join their team at an onsite business dining space. The ideal candidate will anticipate and address the needs of the company and client, focusing on food and beverage replenishment, safety, and high-quality product. This role involves setting up, stocking, maintaining, and safely receiving commissary and pantry orders, embodying the Savory spirit and providing exceptional hospitality. The Pantry Attendant will also support hospitality and culinary teams during downtime. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside the Savory team and interface directly with the onsite client daily, making it a key addition to the growing team.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or pantry services
• Proven ability to anticipate needs and multitask
• Knowledge of Department of Health food safety best practices
• A true team player: reliable, diligent, dedicated, communicative, and collaborative
• Capability to maintain a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods in varying temperature conditions
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 25lbs

Nice To Haves

• DOH Food Handler’s certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Embody Savory’s core hospitality standards at every turn, externally with our guests and internally with teammates
• Assist in receiving and checking morning and afternoon food deliveries
• Stock pantries and monitor inventory on four floors of office space daily
• Maintain a tidy, clean, and stocked storage room
• Track product inventory on a monthly basis
• Maximize downtime during shifts by proactively completing side work and assisting the café team to maintain a smooth workflow at all times
