About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Panelboard Coordinator - Line 3a (B-Shift). The schedule for the role will be Monday-Thursday, with hours from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM. The hourly rate for this position is $25/hr. This position is eligible for the employee variable incentive program. In the Coordinator role, you will plan, process, and request manufacturing information, utilizing computer-generated data reports. You will schedule production units within assigned areas and assist in controlling productive materials, hardware expense items, and expedite shortages.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or materials processing experience required.
  • Prior work experience using a computer, including competence in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required.
  • Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Sumter (50 miles) will be considered for this position.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without company sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Previous coordinator experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience with AS400, VISTA, and DMM computer programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate material and MIs for your designated area as well as between areas to meet scheduled ship dates.
  • Manage the flow of jobs through the production process and into shipping.
  • Update production jobs in master schedule, turn backs, AS400 based on job flow while working closely with the customer service team.
  • Review and update the status of orders and materials with manufacturing supervisors, material control personnel, and people in work areas, and customer service. Includes regularly scheduled multi-functional production meetings which vary from once a week to daily depending on area(s) of responsibility.
  • Utilize the computer, including Microsoft Excel, DMM, AS400, and the Material Synchronization Spreadsheet, to maintain control of floor stock and floor records.
  • Process surplus, rejected, and/or defective material according to procedures.
  • Problem solve manufacturing information by identifying missing and incorrect items.
  • Attend the Tier meeting, check and update emails, and log data into required systems (DMM, Enovia, AS400).
  • Review production tasks, including checking turnbacks, crane sheets, etc.
  • Conduct end-of-day 5S tasks to maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Act as a back-up Team Lead if needed, ensuring continuity in leadership and operations.
