About The Position

This position involves packaging and sanitation functions of cheesemaking: form filling, carting, brining, shoveling, and palletizing. This position requires strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping, and personal conduct rules. Work is performed in a clean, warm, wet and noisy environment.

• Food manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Processing responsibilities include filling forms, carting cheese, shoveling curd, form set-up, palletize and/or tote product following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Moving cheese in and out of brining baths
• Sanitation duties with accurate following of Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
• Strict adherence to GMPs; Keep area clean
• Strict adherence to Safety/PPE protocols and procedures; reporting unsafe conditions to plant management
• Accurate recordkeeping including SQF documentation and other required documents
