About The Position

This role involves the assembly and wiring of electrical panels. Key responsibilities include drilling, tapping, and cutting holes in enclosures, mounting and wiring components according to diagrams, operating shop equipment, labeling panels, performing quality control and testing, assisting with Bill of Materials (BOM) maintenance, preparing panels for shipment, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines. The role also emphasizes attention to detail, time management, ability to work under pressure, multi-tasking, and being a team player. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, performing repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a technician or in a similar technical role is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drill, tap, and cut holes in metal enclosures to fit electrical components.
  • Layout, mount, and wire components such as circuit breakers, transformers, relays, terminals, and industrial control devices based on wiring diagrams.
  • Operate shop equipment and hand tools, including power drills, wire marker machines, and labeling machines, to assist in panel assembly and wiring tasks.
  • Install labels and overlays for panel identification.
  • Perform final detailing and testing of panels, ensuring they meet company quality standards. Clean and take pictures of panels prior to shipment.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the Bill of Materials (BOM) for panels.
  • Prepare and package panels for shipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Work closely with team members, following instructions and staying on task to meet production deadlines.
