About The Position

Opportunity available for a 2nd Shift Panel Bender Operator in our Jonesboro, AR facility. Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Come build your future with us!

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
1 to 3 years’ experience operating brake press or similar; minimum 1 year required.
Demonstrated mechanical ability.
Able to read blueprints and interpret measurements.
Able to accurately use caliper and tape measure to 1/32”.
Able to work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week and Saturdays) as required.
Stand and walk continuously for 8-10 hours, if necessary.
Lift and carry 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate panel bender to support production.
Set up and changeover machines, load and edit programs, and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance.
Install and align tooling, dies, fixtures, and gauges as required.
Troubleshoot equipment and identify problems with tooling and machine adjustments.
Maintain quality standards, inspecting the product and adjusting machines as needed to meet product specifications.
Check products visually with fixed gauges and prints, including first piece inspections.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment when required.
Move materials within the work area.
Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product/service, including reporting non-conforming materials.
Report unusual conditions or questionable items to lead or supervisor.
Adhere all safety rules and regulations.
Keep work area clean and orderly.
Maintain accurate records as required.
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
