About The Position

The 2nd Shift Panel Assembler plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by assembling electrical control panels and related components during the evening shift. This position ensures that all panels are built accurately and efficiently according to detailed specifications and quality standards. The assembler will collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues, contributing to continuous improvement efforts. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount to maintain product integrity and workplace safety. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in electrical panel assembly or a related manufacturing role.
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills are used daily to coordinate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in electrical assembly or related technical training.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards such as IPC or UL.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical control panels and wiring harnesses following detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Inspect components and finished assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to identify and resolve assembly issues or defects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety guidelines and company policies.
• Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes and product quality.
