Requirements

Speaks and understands English.
Common sense reasoning and logic skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to lift 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
Ability to arrive to work on-time for all assigned shifts including early morning, weekends, holidays, and overtime when required. Must have Saturday and Sunday availability.
Able to balance multiple tasks and work well in an environment with time constraints.

Responsibilities

Washes and hangs or racks all bakery equipment, tools, and pans for drying.
Washes and maintains bakery floors and mats.
Maintains storage areas to ensure proper labeling and cleanliness.
Assists with product receiving when needed.
Informs management of all needed repairs and/or maintenance needed on equipment, drains, tools, mats, and any necessary improvements needed within the building.
Follows all sanitation guidelines as prescribed by the health department.
Cooperates on all matters relating to safety and health in the work area.
Understands and complies with general and specific safe job procedures including using knives safely.
Wearing slip resistant shoes and utilizes proper lifting techniques.
Reports all unsafe conditions or equipment immediately.
Immediately reports all accidents to the Supervisor/Manager and obtains first aid for all injuries.
