About The Position

Delaware Hospice is actively seeking a full-time Palliative Medical Assistant. The Palliative Medical Assistant will provide clinical/administrative support and coordination assistance to the Palliative Care team. Assist in chart preparation, document compliance, and ensure day to day operations are running efficiently. Assess additional needs as directed by Palliative Care providers and Practice Manager. Requirements

Current Medical Assistant certification
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must be knowledgeable in MS Office and our EMR.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills along with excellent interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to triage and prioritize patient needs, multi-task and be self-directed.
Must be proficient in Medical Terminology

Nice To Haves

2 Years Experience working as a Medical Assistant in Ambulatory or Home Visit setting preferred

Responsibilities

Provide clinical/administrative support and coordination assistance to the Palliative Care team.

Coordinate schedules for team members and communicate to Referral Center.
