Palliative Care RN- Las Vegas
About The Position
We are seeking a Palliative Care RN to join our team. In this role, you will provide a continuum of quality care through communication with patients via in-person or phone interaction. You will support patients with condition education, medication reviews, and connections to resources. You will also visit patients in their homes to discuss goals and available resources, and use a team approach to address the needs of patients and their families, including bereavement counseling. Your role will involve offering a support system to help families during patients’ illness and in their own bereavement, and providing relief from pain and distressing symptoms. This position offers flexibility and autonomy, with the option to work from home and coordinate a visiting schedule that is mutually beneficial. Requirements
- Current, unrestricted NV RN license or temporary NV RN license with the ability to obtain permanent NV RN license upon expiration of temporary NV RN license
- 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- CPR certification or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire
- Access to reliable transportation that will enable you to travel to client and/or patient sites within a designated area

- Visit patients in their homes to discuss goals and available resources
- Use a team approach to address the needs of patients and their families, including bereavement counseling, if indicated
- Offer a support system to help the family help during patients’ illness and in their own bereavement
- Provide relief from pain and distressing symptoms
- Other responsibilities as assigned
