About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for loading or stacking boxed product onto pallets in the required formation and/or weight. The role requires performing all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines, and local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations. The shift for this role is the 2nd Shift, with hours from 4:25 pm to Finish.

Requirements

Ability to read work orders.
Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.
Follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.
Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times in areas where required.
Stand up to 8 hours.
Lift up to 60 lbs.
Exposure to wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC).
Will be exposed to noise of > 85 decibels, CO2 and moving production equipment.
Work around raw, live animal odors.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Load and organize pallets according to customer or company requirements using pallet jacks or by manually lifting product.
Verify pallets are loaded according to work order.
Perform all work in compliance with company policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
