About The Position

The Pallet Stacker is responsible for the smooth operation of an assigned case-packing or palletizing machine. The role supports production-line setup, equipment operation and adjustment, product quality, and supply of materials to line workers. Employees are expected to follow safety policies and procedures and to produce goods in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and the Safe Quality Food Program.

Requirements

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
Ability to make minor decisions based on standard practices.
Ability to read and prepare production reports and comprehend production worksheets.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Monitor the spiral cooler, product packing conveyor, box gluer, and matrix labeler.
Control and adjust equipment settings as necessary.
Operate pallet turner and pallet shrink-wrap machines.
Replace ribbon rolls and sticker tag rolls on the Matrix.
Ensure package quality and appearance.
Check the last case on an order and the first case on the new order.
Set up the line and packing area, and assist with changeover between the lidder and sealer bar area.
Supply line workers with boxes and other necessary supplies.
Assist line workers as necessary.
Perform assignments and job tasks according to stated safety policies and procedures.
Produce products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and the policies and procedures outlined in the Safe Quality Food Program.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
