About The Position
Terzo Enterprises is a logistics company focused on the repair, refurbishment, and re-manufacturing of pallets. This role involves repairing and refurbishing damaged pallets in a fast-paced production environment, adhering to company and safety standards while ensuring speed, accuracy, and attention to detail. The goal is to meet and exceed daily production quotas while prioritizing safety and meeting customer quality criteria.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
Nice To Haves
- Basic tool knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Repairing and refurbishing damaged pallets.
- Ensuring repairs adhere to company and safety standards.
- Meeting and exceeding daily production quotas.
- Prioritizing safety at all times.
- Meeting customer quality criteria.
- Visually inspecting pallets for defects such as broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris, and contamination.
- Correcting defects that do not meet specification criteria.
- Removing damaged boards using a pry bar or hammer.
- Using a reciprocating saw and grinder to cut or remove old and bent nails.
- Attaching appropriate boards according to company specifications using a pneumatic nail gun and hammer.
- Performing basic math to track pallets repaired.
- Restocking building supplies at the end of the shift.
- Cleaning the pallet repair area at the end of the shift.
- Performing other duties as required.
- Working overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as required.
