Requirements

  • Must have both Pallet Jack and Forklift certification and be able to maintain a good safety record
  • High School Diploma or related
  • Follows all safety, USDA, and GMP policies and guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
  • Must pass a background check, drug screen
  • Must be able to read and write
  • Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours
  • Maintain a good safety record
  • Must have Good mobility, good eye/hand coordination
  • Basic computer skills, as you will be required to check out PIT equipment through safety chain

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Forklift operator experience
  • Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and electric/manual pallet jacks
  • Move, load, unload, and store product throughout the facility
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper and safe operation
  • Support production teams by delivering materials as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
  • Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies promptly
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
  • Adheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned
