Requirements
- Must have both Pallet Jack and Forklift certification and be able to maintain a good safety record
- High School Diploma or related
- Follows all safety, USDA, and GMP policies and guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions
- Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen
- Must be able to read and write
- Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours
- Maintain a good safety record
- Must have Good mobility, good eye/hand coordination
- Basic computer skills, as you will be required to check out PIT equipment through safety chain
Nice To Haves
- Prior Forklift operator experience
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and electric/manual pallet jacks
- Move, load, unload, and store product throughout the facility
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper and safe operation
- Support production teams by delivering materials as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or inventory discrepancies promptly
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals
- Adheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
