About The Position
The Pallet Jack Operator is responsible for the transportation of product in tanks/bins to and from the cooler and other packaging areas. This role also involves tracking and recording the net weight of bins/pallets of product, labeling them with the correct date, shift, and product description, and helping to maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Must be able to read/write in English.
- Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time (8-10HRS) on a concrete/metal grate floor.
- Must be able to perform inspection on a pallet jack.
- Must pass a pallet jack test in order to receive pallet jack license.
- Must pass a level 2 POET test in order to perform job.
Responsibilities
- Transport product in tanks/bins to and from the cooler and other packaging areas.
- Track and record net weight of bins/pallets of product.
- Label bins/pallets with the correct date, shift, and product description.
- Help maintain and improve quality and food safety to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.
- Maintain management standards.
Benefits
- Additional $.20 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm.
- Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am.
