Requirements

  • Experience using power tools and saws.
  • Ability to work 8-hours of repetitive heavy lifting.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of production tools such as pneumatic nail gun, or other relevant tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Ability to work flexible in an ever-changing environment.
  • Proven experience in a similar role in a manufacturing setting.
  • Previous experience following quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • This role involves standing for extended periods, lifting, and repetitive motion.
  • Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Follow repair guidelines to execute the removal of defective components on both bottom deck and top deck of pallet.
  • Replace connector boards that are out of specification.
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or irregularities in pallet construction.
  • Ensure adherence to repair guidelines and quality standards throughout the process.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following company safety standards.
  • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately.
  • Work closely and harmoniously with other assembly line operators.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure smooth transitions between assembly and processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the disassembly/assembly process.
