Requirements

  • Ability to work all scheduled shifts, on time
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment
  • Proven record of accomplishment in safe working practices
  • Manufacturing experience preferred (preferably in the food industry)
  • Experience working in temperature-controlled settings
  • Experience with perishable items
  • Numeracy skills
  • Computer skill
  • Able to read and write English
  • Able to drive an electric jack and / or FLT
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 50 Lbs.
  • Bi-lingual preferred
  • Able to interact and communicate with the supervisors and team members

Responsibilities

  • Always adhere to safe working practices
  • Perform daily checks of area for non-compliance and report them to your supervisor
  • Ensure finished product conforms to specifications
  • Identified the pallets to be closed on the report sheet
  • Count cases on a pallet and record the quantity on the report sheet
  • Material issue and partial close the pallet on a computer or a scan gun
  • Print and stick LPN on a pallet and bring to FG cooler or Freezer
  • Follow the company GMP’s
  • Always ensure clean and tidy production area
  • Report Downtime to maintenance or supervisor in a timely manner
  • Communicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes (low yields, etc.)
  • Monitor and action all waste
  • Take instructions from supervisors
  • Be respectful of the schedule
  • Able to work in cold environment
  • Any other tasks deemed reasonable and requested by management
