About The Position

To perform tasks necessary to ensure quality pallets are built to support the sheet extrusion lines. Must be willing to work B shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Every Other Sunday. 6:46PM to 7AM.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to work at a fast pace
Ability to multi task and read production tickets
Ability to perform math calculations including fractions
Must be able to read tape measure, including micrometer
Must be computer literate
Ability to maintain production standards
Must be dedicated to continuous improvement
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods of time

Nice To Haves

one to three years of experience preferred
current lift-truck certification

Responsibilities

Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse
Maintains a safe working environment by following environments by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents
Maintains company's quality standards
Responsible for the construction of pallets and cutters while meeting the customer standards as stated on the work order and ISO document
Performs identification of materials and or supplies to build pallets and includes safe operation of the bostitch nail gun, hand saw, radial table saw and emptying the dust collector
Responsible for removing finished products from lines and or stacking table, operation of hoist, application of stretch wrap, endplates, banding and labels to the proper pallet as indicated on the work order or ISO document
Performs of visual inspection of product before being put into use
Communicates with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
Maintains a current lift-truck certification
Other duties as assigned
