About The Position

The Pallet Builder is responsible for hand-constructing pallets to safely package and ship refurbished wheels to customers and transfer locations. Working on the warehouse floor, this team member builds multiple pallets per shift by stacking, padding, and securing wheels of varying sizes and weights using strapping tools, stretch wrap, and protective materials. This is a high-output, physically demanding role where consistency, craftsmanship, and pace directly impact how our product reaches customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; not required
  • Prior warehouse, packing, or manual labor experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic and a physically capable, energetic approach to the job
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent with attendance
  • Takes pride in the quality and stability of their work
  • Able to follow instructions and maintain a fast, sustained pace to hit daily build targets
  • Team player who communicates clearly with coworkers and supervisors
  • Safety-conscious and adheres to procedures without being reminded
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach for the duration of a shift
  • Able to work at a sustained physical pace in a warehouse environment
  • Tolerance for hard floor surfaces and varying temperatures typical of an industrial setting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with strapping tools, banding equipment, or stretch wrap a plus
  • Pallet jack operation preferred but not required — will train

Responsibilities

  • Hand-build pallets from the ground up to securely hold refurbished wheels of varying sizes and weights for outbound shipping and facility transfers
  • Arrange and stack wheels on pallets in a structurally sound manner, maximizing stability and load efficiency
  • Apply protective materials — including foam padding, edge guards, and cardboard — between and around wheels to prevent surface damage during transit
  • Secure completed loads using strapping tools and stretch wrap to ensure pallets are tight, stable, and ready for freight handling
  • Build multiple pallets per shift to meet daily production quotas while maintaining consistent quality and load integrity
  • Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures when handling heavy loads, using equipment, and working near other warehouse staff
  • Wear required PPE, including steel-toed boots, at all times on the warehouse floor
  • Communicate supply shortages or equipment issues promptly to a supervisor
  • Support teammates and contribute to a productive, positive team environment
