1st Shift Pallet Builder
About The Position
This position is responsible for palletizing finished cartons for product on the clean side of the processing plant. This position is responsible for the final inspection of the finished carton box. Duties include monitoring the date code on finished cases per customer specific requirements and monitoring for damaged or compromised product. In this role, you’ll help deliver the highest quality product while upholding our unwavering commitment to animal welfare, food safety, and responsible farming. You’ll act boldly, embrace continuous improvement, and partner with teammates and customers to deliver wins.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in a processing environment preferred
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Responsibilities
- Stage materials for days processing including pallets, cardboard, and pallet trays
- Change tape on machine in the morning or downtime
- Assist with labeling and staging of boxes or cartons as needed
- Palletize boxes per customer label
- Stack boxes neatly inspecting for any damage
- Inform Team Leaders of any shortages of required counts per Daily Processing Plan
- Monitor date code on finished cases per customer requirements
