About The Position

As a Palantir Engineer, you’ll directly support the Commander’s vision by advancing the organization’s enterprise data and analytic capabilities. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in enabling Foundry as a core capability, constructing robust data pipelines, ontologies, and large-scale data fusion solutions that strengthen operational GEOINT analysis. Through this work, you’ll deliver enterprise-grade data infrastructure the enhances situational awareness, accelerates decision making, and empowers mission stakeholders with timely, accurate, and integrated insights.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or analytics focused roles
Experience with Palantir Foundry, including data integration, transformation logic, ontology construction, and pipeline development
Experience in GEOINT related data structures, processing, or analytical workflows
Experience with languages commonly used for data engineering such as Python or SQL
Experience with cloud-based architectures and distributed data systems
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, Data Engineering, or Information Systems

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting defense, intelligence or operational analysis missions
Experience with geospatial data formats, tooling, and exploitation systems
Experience with version control such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevSecOps workflows
Ability to document technical processes and train users on Foundry capabilities
Possession of strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in fast-paced operational environments
Master’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, Data Engineering, or Information Systems

Responsibilities

Engineer, maintain, and optimize data pipelines within Palantir Foundry to support operational analytical workflows.
Develop, refine, and manage ontologies to enable accurate modeling, integration, and contextualization of varied GEOINT-relevant datasets.
Implement large-scale data fusion methodologies to facilitate enhanced situational awareness and operational insight.
Partner with analysts and mission users to understand data requirements and translate them into sustainable, repeatable Foundry workflows.
Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across Foundry assets and workflows.
Provide technical guidance on best practices for integrating Foundry capabilities into enterprise missions and operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve Foundry-related issues, optimizing performance and user experience.
