About The Position

Performs duties under the direct supervision of the PAL & Title Supervisor. This role involves processing and disbursing Pre-Approved Loan (PAL) drafts, verifying loan terms, collateral, security interest, and value are accurate and within lending guidelines. It also includes handling title work to ensure credit union interest is secured on all non-real estate collateralized loans, researching and resolving title errors, and handling member requests for title changes. The position also involves releasing liens when loans are paid off and assisting members in obtaining paper titles. Additionally, the role supports loan add-ons, PAL changes, overseas military sales, collateral swaps, and check-in-lieu when PAL cannot be accepted, and prepares/processes loan modification agreements. A key aspect is promoting, explaining, and cross-selling Credit Union products and services, encouraging enrollment in electronic services, and referring members to Eglin Financial Services to meet established credit union goals. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• A high school education or GED.
• Must be able to operate general office equipment, PC and ancillary software.
• All functions are efficiently, effectively and accurately performed and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• All communications with members, dealers and employees are professional, courteous, clear and concise.
• Consistently reliable in attendance, punctuality and dependability.
• Is trustworthy and performs in a positive, constructive and supportive manner with all members and employees.

Responsibilities

• Handles title work ensuring credit union interest is secured on all non-real estate collateralized loans. Researches and resolves title errors. Handles member requests for title changes. Releases liens when loans are paid off and assists members in attaining paper titles.
• Assists with loan add-ons, PAL changes, overseas military sales, collateral swaps, and check in lieu, when PAL cannot be accepted. Prepares and processes loan modification agreements when required. Checks department work for completeness and accuracy.
• Promotes, explains and cross-sells Credit Union products and services. Encourages and assists members with enrollment in electronic services and refers members to Eglin Financial Services. Meets established credit union goals.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.
