About The Position

Blair Commercial Painting, LLC is seeking a Remote Painting Estimator / Takeoff Specialist to support their estimating and sales process. This role is designed for an individual with practical experience in completing painting takeoffs, interpreting plans, managing project details, and contributing to the preparation of precise estimates for commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate can work autonomously, communicate effectively in English, and consistently deliver accurate and timely takeoff work. Experience with ZZ Takeoff software is mandatory, and familiarity with HubSpot is advantageous.

Requirements

• Experience completing painting takeoffs is required
• Experience using ZZ Takeoff software is required
• Commercial painting estimating or takeoff experience is strongly preferred
• Strong ability to read plans, drawings, and project documents
• Detail-oriented and accurate with measurements, quantities, and scope notes
• Advanced English communication skills are required
• Able to work remotely, stay organized, and manage time independently
• Comfortable using online tools, shared files, and company software

Nice To Haves

• HubSpot CRM experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications for commercial painting opportunities
• Complete accurate painting takeoffs using ZZ Takeoff software
• Measure quantities for interior and exterior painting scopes
• Identify project details, scope requirements, exclusions, and potential questions
• Organize takeoff information clearly for estimating and proposal preparation
• Support the estimating and sales team with project documentation and pricing preparation
• Communicate questions, gaps, or scope concerns clearly and promptly
• Maintain organized records of takeoffs, plans, notes, and project information
• Work within company systems and processes to support a smooth estimating workflow
• Collaborate remotely with Blair Commercial Painting team members to help keep opportunities moving forward
