About The Position

Curbtender manufactures garbage collection trucks. Painters are responsible for preparing the collection bodies for paint, applying a wet base coat and topcoat, and repairing any imperfections as needed. Must maintain accurate records of all product sprayed and comply with chemical and waste storage and disposal regulations. Must be able to distinguish among colors. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be able to distinguish among colors
• Lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
• Prolonged periods of Standing, Walking, Balancing
• Overhead work
• Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding
• Ability to always wear a forced air suit while painting

Nice To Haves

• Experience with spraying PPG, Axalta, or Sherwin Williams using Graco spray equipment
• Team players with excellent work ethic
• Self-driven
• Pay attention to detail
