About The Position

This role involves a variety of painting and maintenance tasks. The Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paints, and maintaining existing paint surfaces. This includes handling hazardous materials safely, installing and repairing drywall and texturing, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. The position also involves assisting with material transport, site setup, and record-keeping.

Requirements

Knowledge and skill in hazardous materials handling, application, and disposal.
Ability to speak, read, and understand the English Language.
Pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
Possess a valid Professional Driver’s License with at least Restriction Code 2.
Basic knowledge of Maximo and Tablet.

Painting certification/s is required.

Responsibilities

Load, transport, unload, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
Clean work area and restock supplies and materials.
Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials during installation.
Mix paints, match colors, prepare surfaces, and apply paint.
Perform touch-ups or coordinate large painting projects.
Install, repair, and maintain drywall, wall texturing, and ceiling acoustic texturing.
Apply paints, stains, surface preparatory materials, and undercoating materials according to Materials Safety Data Sheets.
Maintain existing paint surfaces through matching and tinting of appropriate paint products.
Identify, safely handle, and appropriately dispose of paints, stains, preparatory and undercoating materials, and other hazardous materials.
Coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and set up work site.
Complete and review records, maintain tools and equipment, and perform clean-up activities.
Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
Perform other duties and activities as directed.
