About The Position

AriensCo is seeking a motivated and experienced Painter at our Plant 1 and Plant 3 locations. We invite you to be part of our dynamic team. This role involves the safe operation of machines and tools, painting parts in accordance with specifications, handling raw materials and/or parts, operating equipment, and adhering to standard work. The position also requires assisting team members, completing operator preventative maintenance, and demonstrating problem-solving and communication skills. The Painter will live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles, working as part of a team responsible for painting outdoor power equipment.

Requirements

Ability to stand and/or walk for 8+ hours a day
Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
Able to lift up to 35 pounds at varying frequencies
Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
Ability to work as part of a team
Desire for personal development and growth
Must complete respirator questionnaire

Responsibilities

Safe operation of machines and tools

Work as part of a team having responsibility for painting outdoor power equipment
Paint parts in accordance to the specifications
Handles raw materials and/or parts and places in designated location
Operates equipment needed to perform the job
Strict adherence to standard work
Assist team members in other areas if needed to meet daily production goals
Completes operator preventative maintenance on equipment
Ability to problem solve effectively
Ability to communicate
