OSHA Certification
Experience in painting

Responsibilities

Performs general painting for new construction, remodel projects, and renovations such as redecorating offices, wards, corridors, dining halls/rooms, living quarters and shop buildings.
Paints and refinishes furniture, wood and metal such as desks, cabinets, chairs, operating room and laundry equipment.
Glazes and caulks windows on air-conditioning equipment, and cuts and installs glass.
Coordinates with interior designer on wall coverings and paint color selections.
Installs vinyl wall coverings, hangs paper, and tapes and beds.
Cuts stencils, paints signs, and helps blend and mix colors.
Assists in marking streets and cleaning and caring for equipment.
Prepares surfaces by methods such as smoothing with spackling and joint compound, filling, shaping and mixing and applying pre-coating agents.
Prepares coating materials by tinting, toning, matching, blending and mixing various additives.
