This position involves applying paint, stain, and other finishes to property walls, ceilings, and furniture using various tools. It also includes preparing surfaces, removing old finishes, protecting areas during painting, and maintaining cleanliness of tools and the work area. The role requires coordination with vendors for color modifications and adherence to all company safety and security policies and procedures. Additionally, it involves general guest service standards, teamwork, and performing physical tasks such as reaching, bending, and lifting. Key responsibilities include: - Applying paint, stain, and other finishes. - Preparing surfaces by applying primers or sealers. - Removing old finishes through various methods. - Protecting surfaces and posting appropriate signage. - Cleaning and storing paint and equipment. - Coordinating with vendors for color modifications. - Following all company and safety policies and procedures. - Reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries. - Completing safety training and certifications. - Maintaining a clean and professional appearance and ensuring confidentiality. - Welcoming and assisting guests according to company standards. - Speaking clearly and professionally and supporting team goals. - Ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards. - Performing physical tasks including reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, moving up and down ladders, and manipulating objects. - Moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. - Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. - Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
