About The Position

DATTCO's Accelerated Property Management Division is hiring a Painter in New Britain, Connecticut. The division provides property management services, including landscaping, facilities management, and construction, to DATTCO divisions and external customers. The Painter prepares surfaces, selects and mixes paint, operates painting equipment, applies finishes, and maintains a clean work area while following safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a painter.
• Ability to climb ladders safely.
• Proficiency in operating man lifts.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of painting techniques and processes.
• Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and stamina to handle manual labor.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and applying primer.
• Select and mix paints to match colors and textures.
