About The Position

Collins Aerospace is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Painter I for its onsite team in Jamestown, North Dakota. The role involves priming and applying final paint to detail parts and final assemblies according to current specifications, supporting the delivery of high-quality products. The position is scheduled for 4th shift, Friday through Sunday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Requirements

Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent (such as a GED in the United States), or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills, including Excel, Word, and email.
Ability to operate a curing oven and chart recorders.
Ability to interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities

Prime and apply final paint to detail parts and final assemblies according to current specifications.
Maintain paint equipment, mix paint, and manage paint control.
Follow standard operating procedures and specifications.
Mix paint to the specified viscosity.
Clean, assemble, and adjust spray guns and other equipment.
Wash, wipe, and sand parts when necessary.
Mask and prepare parts for painting as required.
Cure parts after topcoat application.
Operate chart recorders.
