About The Position

This position reports to the Production Supervisor. The work model for the role is Onsite, Fort Smith, AR. The Painter will perform painting tasks and operate related equipment including motors, spray guns, and lifting devices, while handling various materials like sealants and paints. They will follow detailed work instructions such as Shop Floor Display, TDRs, and diagrams to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. The role requires maintaining productivity and safety by monitoring machines, disposing of waste properly, keeping the workspace clean, and prioritizing workplace safety. Communication and collaboration with team members, ordering necessary supplies/tools, and supporting other departmental functions as needed, including working overtime, are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent required.
6 months of industrial or military experience, or vocational/technical education; motor manufacturing experience preferred.
Must pass a background and drug screen and have valid U.S. work authorization.
Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English is essential for maintaining a safe work environment.
Regular attendance and availability for overtime are essential job functions.
