Painter - Plant Maintenance
About The Position
The hospital Painter/Carpenter will repair and maintain all floor coverings, wall coverings, ceiling structures, painted surfaces and exterior finishes of every type in the hospital, central plant and professional buildings. In addition, is responsible for repair and p.m. of hospital furniture and fixtures of lettering and door hardware, as well as assisting with implementation of new procedures and safety practices. Will perform minor maintenance in patient areas, including, but not limited to light replacements, plumbing repairs, electrical and/or projects with director of plant operations, or engineering coordinator.
Requirements
- Three years of experience in healthcare or a related field.

- Repair and perform preventive maintenance of hospital furniture and fixtures, including lettering and door hardware.
- Assist with the implementation of new procedures and safety practices.
- Perform minor maintenance in patient areas, including light replacements, plumbing repairs, and electrical work, under the direction of the director of plant operations or engineering coordinator.
