About The Position

Perform interior and exterior painting, staining, sealing, and touch-up work. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming as needed. Repair minor drywall damage, cracks, nail holes, and other surface imperfections before painting. Match existing paint colors and finishes when performing touch-ups and repairs. Protect floors, furniture, landscaping, fixtures, and other surrounding areas during painting. Maintain painted surfaces on walls, ceilings, doors, trim, fences, railings, and other property features. Identify areas requiring painting or repair and communicate larger maintenance concerns to Facilities leadership. Operate commercial pressure-washing and surface-cleaning equipment safely. Pressure wash sidewalks, patios, building exteriors, entryways, driveways, curbs, fences, dumpster areas, and other exterior surfaces. Remove dirt, mildew, algae, stains, debris, and buildup from exterior surfaces. Adjust water pressure and cleaning methods based on the material being cleaned to prevent damage. Maintain exterior areas to company appearance and cleanliness standards. Schedule cleaning activities to minimize disruption to events and property operations. Perform facility repairs and general maintenance when needed. Assist Facilities team members with property improvement projects. Complete assigned preventive and appearance-related maintenance work. Respond to priority painting, cleaning, and appearance issues as directed. Communicate material, equipment, or repair needs to the appropriate supervisor. Properly operate and maintain pressure washers, paint sprayers, rollers, brushes, ladders, hand tools, and related equipment. Follow manufacturer requirements for paints, chemicals, cleaning products, and equipment. Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain clean and organized work areas. Properly store paints, chemicals, tools, and equipment. Immediately report safety hazards, property damage, equipment issues, or unsafe conditions.

Requirements

  • Previous professional painting, pressure washing, facilities maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of interior and exterior painting techniques and surface preparation.
  • Experience operating pressure-washing equipment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of drywall repair, caulking, patching, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assignments across multiple properties.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Facilities leadership, property teams, vendors, and other employees.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to travel between assigned properties as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work for extended periods.
  • Ability to safely use ladders and work at moderate heights.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate painting and pressure-washing equipment for extended periods.
