About The Position

This role is responsible for applying various industrial coatings according to work instructions and DVQRs. The painter will also be responsible for maintaining paint guns and related equipment, understanding paint mixing systems, and completing all required paperwork. Adherence to safety and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and housekeeping standards, is crucial. The position may involve exposure to a wide range of temperatures and plant odors, and may require the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, bend, walk, and stand for prolonged periods, including working 12-hour shifts when necessary.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, High School Equivalency Certificate, Vocational/Technical Training, Professional Certifications, Military Service, Skills Based Requirements or Relevant Work Experience
Above average verbal, written and math skills.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as required [when necessary].
Ability to bend, walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule when necessary.

Nice To Haves

Experience with copper shielding and its properties, water-soluble coatings, solvent based coating, texturing and paint additives.
Understanding of in-line, proportional paint mixing systems.
Knowledge of health and environmental regulations relative to paints and industrial coatings.

Responsibilities

Possess the ability to apply various industrial coatings per work instructions and DVQRs.

Maintain Mack's standard of housekeeping in all areas.
