About The Position

The Painter 2 role is responsible for Sandblasting, Priming or Powder coating our trailers. A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all painting quality levels are met.

Requirements

Knowledge of painting in a production environment.
Experience using an electrostatic air sprayer, or other hand sprayer.
Experience with preparing surfaces of trailers for painting.
Ability to support a safe working environment.
Experience painting, powder coating and/or sandblasting.
Must be 18 years old.
Ability to stand for 10 hours.
Ability to work in a paint suit and respirator.
Lift, push and pull 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Sandblasting, Priming or Powder coating trailers.
Utilize a strong work ethic to ensure all painting quality levels are met.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Work as a team, follow orders and complete tasks as assigned by paint lead.
Operate all equipment required for surface preparation, primer and topcoat application.
Clean and maintain all equipment and booths.
Work in a respirator.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties from time to time if requested by management.
