About The Position
This is a dual-site position and completes work at Chicago Behavioral Hospital in Des Plaines and Lake Behavioral Hospital in Waukegan. The Painter/Maintenance Worker performs a variety of tasks, heavily focused on painting. It may also include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, testing and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance, and various janitorial duties, with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Two years of technical or trade school preferred.
- Must have experience operating various hand/power tools and equipment ensuring proper safety precautions preferred.
- Must have experience in the area of building maintenance and basic mechanical engineering preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of tasks, heavily focused on painting.
- May include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, testing and inspections of physical plant equipment, preventive maintenance, and various janitorial duties.
- Works with minimal supervision.
