About The Position

Executes industrial coatings tasks in operational industrial settings, including surface preparation, mixing, and application. Uses a variety of preparation and coating application methods, operates and maintains painting equipment, follows safety procedures, and may train or direct other classified staff. Also assists and serves as backup to other Facilities employees.

Requirements

• Proficiency in power-tool cleaning, hand sanding, and solvent cleaning.
• Skill in handling, measuring, and mixing industrial coatings while using appropriate respiratory protection.
• Experience with brush-and-roll, airless-spray, and conventional-spray coating application.
• Ability to operate, clean, and maintain painting equipment.
• Punctuality and dependable attendance in accordance with project work rules.
• Adherence to safety procedures.

Responsibilities
