About The Position

Intermediate level position that sandblasts, cleans and paints compressors and all other equipment as directed with moderate supervision. Operates cleaning equipment and prepares equipment for painting. Ability to mix all types of paint systems and applies these to customer and company specifications. Operates sandblast equipment to customer and company specifications. Masks and feathers old paint in preparation for new paint. Must have knowledge of required tools and maintenance care. Assists with paint compliance logs. Follows all relevant HSSE guidelines. Promotes and supports safety, production and positive attitude. Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department. Requires employee to rarely type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as a copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc. Requires frequent operation of heavy equipment such as forklift and scissor lift. Participates in group discussions and meetings. Maintains equipment and clean work areas. Participates in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• 1-3 years’ related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to be certified to drive a forklift
