About The Position

This position is responsible for performing day-to-day assignments through work orders and/or instructions from the Foreman to ensure timely and accurate completion. The role involves performing corrective and preventative maintenance on all equipment related to the Building Maintenance Division to ensure proper operation and extended operating life. The Painter III must comply with established inventory, equipment distribution, equipment operation, and maintenance procedures to ensure efficient, effective, and safe operation of the department. This role also includes monitoring and securing paint equipment and supplies, maintaining the warehouse in a clean and organized manner, and notifying the Building Maintenance Foreman of equipment and facilities requiring repair or replacement. The Painter III will interface with internal functional departments for building repairs and remodeling to minimize disruption and maximize effectiveness, and assist external service vendors and contractors as required. Adherence to policies regarding building and departmental procedures, equipment operation, and safety requirements is essential. The ability to perform with minimal supervision is also a key requirement.

Responsibilities

• Perform day to day assignments via work orders and/or instructions from Foreman to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Perform corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance on all equipment related to the Building Maintenance Division to ensure the proper operation and extended operating life of such equipment.
• Comply with established inventory, equipment distribution, equipment operation and maintenance procedures to ensure efficient, effective and safe operation of the department.
• Monitor and secure the safe keeping of paint equipment and supplies and maintain warehouse in a clean and organized manner.
• Notify Building Maintenance Foreman of equipment and facilities requiring repair or replacement to ensure a safe and effective workplace.
• Interface building repairs and remodeling requirements in harmony with other internal functional departments as required to minimize disruption and maximize effectiveness.
• Assist external service vendors and contractors as required in accordance with guidelines established by the MCCNO to minimize cost and ensure timely completion.
• Adhere to policies regarding building and departmental procedures, equipment operation and safety requirements.
