About The Position

Top Metal Solutions is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our team as a Painter I. This position is ideal for candidates with basic industrial or automotive painting experience who are ready to continue developing their skills within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Painter I, you will support wet paint and powder coat operations while assisting with surface preparation, paint application, material handling, and production support tasks. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow established painting and quality procedures. We are looking for team members who take pride in their work, maintain a strong work ethic, and are motivated to grow within the paint department. The Painter I is responsible for performing entry-level industrial painting tasks while supporting production schedules and quality standards. This position requires the ability to apply paint to basic components, assist with material preparation, and maintain clean and organized work areas under supervision. The ideal candidate has foundational painting knowledge, understands basic paint preparation and mixing procedures, and is motivated to continue developing technical painting skills.

Requirements

  • Basic experience in industrial or automotive painting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Apply paint to basic metal parts and components
  • Support wet paint and powder coat production operations
  • Prepare surfaces prior to paint application
  • Assist with simple paint mixing and material preparation
  • Follow paint procedures, production standards, and quality requirements
  • Support general paint department operations and workflow
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Assist with masking, hanging, and moving parts as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Support production schedules and team objectives
