The Painter/Load is responsible for painting and preparing structural steel and assisting with loading and unloading steel from trucks as required. Requirements
- Must have experience with overhead cranes.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors.
- Works in compliance with Kinsley's safety policies and procedures.
- Must be flexible to work any schedule including overtime and Saturdays as needed.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment.
- Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours.
- Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience painting and using paint sprayers to apply paint is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prep and paint structural steel.
- Operate forklift as needed.
- Perform rigging work to move materials as requires.
- Load and unload steel from trucks.
- Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop.
