FAST Global Solutions is seeking a Painter Blaster for our Night Shift at our Glenwood location. Night shift hours: 4:00 pm - 2:30 am, Monday - Thursday with a $1000 Sign On Bonus! Requirements

  • Ability to shovel or pour abrasives such as sand, grit, or shot of specified grade into machine hopper.
  • Ability to mask specified areas of object to protect from abrading action.
  • Ability to load parts on racks in enclosed rooms, into tumbling barrels, or into cabinets.
  • Ability to regulate pressure and composition of abrasive mixture flowing through nozzle or into tumbling barrel.
  • Ability to start equipment that directs blast or flow of abrasive laden compressed air, gas, or liquid over surface of parts.
  • Ability to direct nozzle over surface of large parts or insert arms through glove fitted cabinet openings and manipulate small parts under nozzle for specified interval.
  • Ability to examine finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Ability to adjust valves and observe gauges to set pressure and to control flow of paint to each spray station.
  • Ability to inspect painted units for runs, sags, and unpainted areas.
  • Ability to readjust pressure valves to control direction and pattern of spray and to correct flaws in coating.
  • Ability to clean paint from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, and from disks, cones, spray heads, and hoses.
  • Ability to hand spray parts to cover unpainted areas or apply rust preventative.
  • Ability to mix paint according to specifications with viscometer to regulate consistency.
  • Ability to operate cone, disk, or nozzle type electrostatic painting equipment within designated paint booths.
  • Ability to perform other miscellaneous tasks as supervision deems necessary.
  • Lifting more than 50 lbs. is performed by two employees or mechanical assistance is required.
