Painter Apprentice
About The Position
Nolan Painting is seeking a full-time Painter Apprentice to join their team in Southampton, PA. The job involves learning to cut in, roll walls and ceilings, and understanding different paint products. Requirements
- Ability to lift and maneuver 20-50 lbs. frequently and 50-100 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to use ladders and power equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time.
- Strong work ethic.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance.
- Good customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Learn the skills needed to rise up in the company.
- Greet customers and interact with team members.
- Set up and clean up the job site.
- Keep the job site clean and orderly.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by covering, sanding, caulking, and priming.
- Learn and practice painting techniques for cutting in, rolling walls, and rolling ceilings.
- Learn the differences between painting products and their proper applications.
