About The Position

This position is responsible for performing painting tasks according to specifications, ensuring quality and adherence to safety regulations. The role involves mixing and applying paint, cleaning parts, maintaining equipment, and completing necessary documentation. The Painter 1 National must be able to work effectively in a shop environment and adapt to various painting challenges.

Requirements

  • Must be able to mix and measure paint per specifications.
  • Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match, prior to painting in booth.
  • Clean parts as per specification.
  • Paint part according to specification and thickness.
  • Keep paint booth filters changed, booth FOD free and complete paperwork.
  • Post paint inspection of parts for appearance and proper coverage.
  • Able to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals.
  • Applies some advanced skills that allow employee to adapt and meet some complex or non-routine situations.
  • Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations.
  • Complete the paint daily checklist.
  • Properly utilizes all PPE required under OSHA Guidelines.
